| On June 1, 2010 at 1738 hours the Volunteers from Bay District, Ridge, Lexington Park EMS, Ridge EMS and SMCALS were dispatched to the area of Spring Ridge Middle School for the MVA with Entrapment. Truck 3(Chief3B) had just passed that area heading back to Ridge for a Building Fire when alerted. Command from the Building fire advised Truck 3 to respond to the MVA and they arrived on the scene within 2 minutes of dispatch along with Chief 3. Engine 32(Sgt. Thomas), Squad 3(FF. Sewell) along with Engine 42 and multiple EMS units all responded at dispatch. Chief 3 advised of a Two Vehicle accident, T-Bone style with entrapment and established the "Spring Ridge Command". Engine 32 and Squad 3 arrived at 1743 hours and the crews split up. Engine 32's crew pulled the protection line, stabilized the vehicle and secured power while Squad 3's crew setup for extrication and conducted another survey of the scene. Crews on the scene worked together removing the driver's side Front and Rear Doors, the "B" post, Roof Removal and had the patient out of the vehicle at 1803 hours and loaded into the ambulance. Rescue Engine 42 arrived on the scene and assisted crews with the other patients and then Command diverted them to setup the Landing Zone for Trooper 7 at the School. Units operated on the scene for a short time and then returned to quarters at 1817 hours.
Once Truck 3 returned to service they responded back down to St. Michaels School that had been struck by lightning a short time before this call. Command requested them to remove some debris from the chimney and to check for stability. Truck 3 operated on that scene for a short time before returning back to quarters at 1902.
