Mission BBQ Continues Its Tradition of Supporting St. Mary’s County Firefighters

Last Tuesday, the crew at Station 9 received a generous lunchtime delivery from the staff at Mission BBQ in California, Maryland. Their team stopped by with a freshly prepared meal for the on-duty firefighters - an act of appreciation that has become a familiar and welcomed tradition.
Mission BBQ has long been a steadfast supporter of fire departments throughout St. Mary’s County. Beyond providing meals to local stations, the restaurant regularly sponsors special events and lends its support to initiatives across the first responder community. Their consistent dedication reflects a deep respect for the men and women who serve and protect the community every day.
“We are grateful for Mission BBQ’s ongoing commitment to our firefighters,” a department spokesperson said. “Their generosity means a great deal to our crews, and we truly value their partnership.”
