Working House Fire in California

At approximately 2:20 PM on September 12, multiple fire stations, including Bay District Stations 9 and 3, along with supporting companies, were dispatched to the 44000 block of Louisdale Road following reports of a house fire. The initial call indicated that the rear deck of the residence was on fire.

Engine 91 was the first to arrive on the scene, reporting smoke showing from a single-story residence. Shortly thereafter, Chief 4A, Bradley Cooper, arrived on site and took command of the incident. The officer from Engine 91 conducted a 360-degree walk-around of the structure confirming that the fire was on the rear, or "Charlie," side of the house and had extended into the attic.

The crew of Engine 91 quickly deployed a 1.75-inch handline and began an aggressive attack on the fire. Upon arrival, Engine 11 and Truck 7 provided critical assistance by establishing additional attack lines, conducting a thorough search of the residence, and ventilating the structure to prevent further fire spread. All searches yielded negative results, confirming no individuals were inside the residence at the time of the fire.

As the location was a non-hydrant area, a tanker operation was initiated to secure a steady water supply. Tankers were filled using a hydrant at the nearby Department of Public Works to maintain continuous water flow during the firefighting efforts.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the responding teams, the fire was successfully brought under control. Chief Bradley Cooper remained in command throughout the incident, ensuring a well-executed response and the safety of all personnel.
