By Bay District Volunteers
March 16, 2021

On March 16th, at 2030, Rescue Engine-92, Squad-7, and multiple EMS companies were dispatched for the MVA Serious in the area of Three Notch Road and By The Mill Road with reports of one overturned with entrapment.

Rescue Engine-92 quickly responded with 4 volunteers. Captain-9 (Martoni) and Chief-3 (Gould) also responded to the scene.

Squad-7 arrived on location and began stabilizing both vehicles with entrapment. Rescue Engine-92 arrived seconds later deploying Holmatro extrication tools to gain access to the patients and a hoseline for crew protection.

Rescue Engine-92 and Squad-7's crews worked in tandem to complete extrication of two patients from both vehicles in less than 15 minutes from arrival. Patients were packaged and loaded into the ambulances. 2 patients were transported to PG Trauma by ground due to Aviation being down due to weather. MSP Aviation responded to the scene and assisted with treatment during transport to the hospital.

Rescue Engine-92 returned to service after operating for about 40 minutes.
