| At 09:39 on Saturday, January 29 Bay District Station 9, Boat 4 (Ridge VFD), Boat 83 (Solomon's VRS & FD), Company 39 (Lexington Park VRS) and Medic 2 (St. Mary's ALS) were alerted for Water Rescue Box 9-09 at 23615 Harbor Rd in the Town Creek subdivision. Chief 9B (Jason Adams) requested Squad 3 to respond to assist with additional ropes and cold water rescue gear. Car 38 responded with Safety Officer Russell Murray and arrived reporting on subject on the ice at the end of a pier. Squad 3 & Tower 9 arrived and deployed firefighters in cold water rescue suits and rope systems. The subject was alert and was able to grab the "Cinch Collar" and was successfully pulled to the pier to awaiting EMS units. Patient was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by ambulance 389 and Medic 2.
