This is great. My daughter lives in your district and had to call your dept. for a water leak in the past. Your response to her call was great -- she lives near the station on Firehouse La.
Do you accept transfers from out of your state ? I have 39 1/2 years firefighting here on Long Island. I am a qualified chauffeur on our 3 engines, tower ladder, heavy rescue, ambulance. As always a wonderful website, I want to thank everyone at BDVFD for a wonderful Breakfast with the Easter Bunny this past weekend. My family and extended family really enjoyed it; and it was great to see everyone from Bay District again. The tones dropping in the middle of breakfast and the crew rushing out brought back some fond memories of having breakfast on the weekends at Linda's Cafe.

My dad was stationed at Pax River in 1957-59 on Anderson Court. I served as a junior volunteer in the then called Lexington Park Volunteer Fire Department. There were a number of us juniors and we fought many a nasty building and brush fires during my tenure. I have many fond memories of the department and of Lexington Park. God bless the work you do.
