E-32 Week 4, SQ-3 Week 9 Progress Report for 11/7/14

By Committee Chairmen Steve Stockwell
November 11, 2014

E-32 is currently in the process of pre-wiring of the lights, switches and major equipment components prior to being mated to the chassis. Paint is complete for both the Cab, Body, Pump and Chassis. Theses items should be mounted sometime within this week and some of the committee members will be heading to Wisconsin for Mid-Inspection. Hopefully we will get out there to see them drop the poly tank into the body. Hopefully we can get out there without any catches due to the big incoming weather I keep seeing all over the news.

SQ-3 looks to be nearly ahead of schedule as they have installed much of the interior body components, shelving and compartment equipment, including compartment lighting. Many of the warning lights have been installed as for the Generator or Light Tower I am unsure as of yet. One thing you will notice is the missing tire on the left side tandems, this is due to a size error we found at Mid-Inspection. Hopefully, I will get to sneak over and take a peek when we are out for E-32.

Also, I would like to mention the beautiful award I received at our Installation from the Past Fire Chief Robert Wahrenbrock and Current Chief Joe Gould on behalf of the members and officers, for the work done on these two committee's. I assure you it was not necessary and part of a group effort but thank you.

Units: E-32 and SQ-3
