Initial reports were that there was nobody in the vehicle however when the police arrived they found a subject trapped. Chief 6, Rescue Engine 62 and Squad 3 all responded at dispatch and Chief 6 arrived on the scene at 2359 hours confirming one trapped and after a quick assessment he requested a Helicopter Category A Priority 1 and established the Command. Rescue Engine 62 and Squad 3 arrived at 0002 hours and the crews went to work, Engine 62 pulled the protection line and secured Power to the vehicle and Squad 3 stabilized the vehicle and started extricating the patient. Squad 3 along with Rescue Engine 62 removed the Driver's Door and initially did a Roof Flap but then later removed the Roof of the vehicle for better patient access. The Extrication of the patient was completed the extrication 15 minutes after arrival and the patient was packaged and then transported to the Landing Zone where Engine 61 was setup with Trooper 7.
