On 12/15/2018 at 18:03 Squad 3, Squad 6 and surrounding EMS units were alerted to the area of Three Notch Rd and Great Mills Rd for the reported single vehicle overturned with entrapment. Squad 3 (Lt. Woodburn) responded at the time of dispatch and arrived to find a single vehicle on its side in the parking lot of the NAS Patuxent River Gate 2 Pass Office with one subject trapped. Squad 7 who was in the area of Three Notch Rd and St. Andrews church Rd requested to run the assignment as the second squad. Both squads worked to stabilize the vehicle and performed a roof removal to free the trapped occupant, who was turned over to awaiting EMS units and transported to a local trauma center.
