Afternoon Rollover in California

On Saturday September 30 at 1445 hours Companies 9, 3, & 7 were alerted for the MVA serious. Police were already on scene reporting 1 trapped.
Engine 91 quickly responded followed shortly by Squads 3 & 7. Engine 91 arrived and reported 1 vehicle on its side and another down the embankment. Moments later Chief 3A arrived and established command as Chief 3 & Squad 3 arrived. Chief 3 had the rescue group. The crew from 91 worked to stabilize the vehicle until Rescue 3 arrived and used there Paratech struts to secure the vehicle further.
Squad 3's crew finished stabilizing the vehicle and broke into 2 groups. Group 1 worked with Engine 91 who started extrication and Group 2 went to work on the vehicle down the embankment. Rescue 7 arrived a few minutes later and assisted Group 1 with completing extrication and patient removal.
The patient was then taken to Chancellors Run Regional Park where Engine 132 and Trooper 7 were waiting. Trooper 7 flew the patient to Prince Georges Hospital Center. The other vehicles occupants were signed refusals.
