Shortly after midnight first thing on Tuesday morning units were alerted for a reported house fire. Chief 3B was the first to arrive on scene and reported a single story residential dwelling with smoke showing.

Engine 32 arrived and set up for drafting operations out of the Patuxent River from a nearby dry hydrant. There crew pulled a secondary line and assisted with the primary search. Solomon’s Truck 3 and Truck 7 arrived and performed ventilation and overhaul duties. Engine 132 had RIT while Engine 73 pulled a line to the rear of the building.

Units operated on scene for about an hour before returning to service while Engine 91 remained on for another two hours to wait for and assist the State Fire Marshal in their investigation.

Engine 11 stood by at Station 9's quarters to cover their area while they operated at this incident.
