Just before 2200 hours, Stations 9, 3 and surrounding departments were alerted to 22143 Snapdragon Court for the reported house on fire with one occupant trapped. Engine 91 (Chief 3B Ticson) was first arriving finding a 2 story single family wood-frame structure with smoke coming from the second floor. Engine 91 deployed their 250' 1.75" attack line and split their crew to start a primary search and fire attack. The occupant was found to be a bed bound disabled patient on the first floor. Crews from Ambulance 388 and Engine 91 assisted with removing the patient from the structure and 388 assumed patient care. Fire attack crew found a single room on fire on the second floor on the alpha/bravo corner.

Engine 32 arrived next and pulled a 200' 1.75" attack line and assisted with fire attack. The room was quickly extinguished, Truck 3 set up fans to assist with ventilation.

The fire was contained to the bed room with no extension. Fire Chief 3 held the command, and held it with units from 9 and 3. Units operated on the scene for approximately 1 hour.
