By Firefighter Carl Brown
December 19, 2012

On December 19, 2012 at 1806 hours Companies 9, 3, 7, and 83, Water Supply 5, Stations 38 and 39 were dispatched to 45908 Meadowlark Drive for the Working Garage Fire. While enroute Chief 3A requested NDW Company 13 to be added to the call. Engine 92 arrived laying out at the hydrant and reported a 2 story residence with smoke showing from the garage and advanced their 200ft 1 3/4 line up to the residence. Engine 32 arrived next picking up Engine 92's line and ran a back up line to assist operating inside. Truck 3 along with Tower 9 arrived laddered the building, ran lights, assisted crews with opening up the garage, did a primary search (negative) and secured utilities. Chief 3A arrived and established Command. The fire was held to only the garage and the box was scaled back to 2/2 only. Units cleared at 1857hrs.
