| At 15:44hrs Company 3 and Squad 3 were alerted to 20676 Flat Iron Road for the Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries. Engine 32 (Sgt: Welch), and Squad 3 (Sgt: Dean) responded within 30 seconds of dispatch. First arriving Chief 6 advised of a single vehicle into a tree and that the occupant was still inside the vehicle and extrication would be necessary. Squad 3 arrived and began to work on the vehicle to free the occupant with removing both driver and passenger doors on the vehicle. Rescue Engine 62 arrived and assisted Squad 3 on extricating the victim. Chief 6 established the "Flat Iron Road Command" Engine 32 arrived and went into staging authority of Command. Extraction took 15 minutes to complete. Ambulance 68 transported the patient to an area hospital and Command was terminated. All Company 3 units cleared at 16:20hrs. |
