At 1718 hours on February 10, 2008 at 47207 Lincoln Ave a working trailer fire was reported. E-32 Sgt D. Dean (diverted from a brush fire in Co. 13's first due), C-3 (W. Johnson) and C-3A (J. Gould) responded within seconds of the dispatch. Upon arrival C-3 confirmed a working trailer fire with extension into the wooded area behind the "fully involved" abandoned trailer and multiple exposures to Side "B", "C" and "D" not including the 2 vehicles also exposed. C-3A assumed Operations as E-32 arrived on the scene dropping a 3" Supply Line. C-3A requested to Command an additional set of Pumper-Tankers and eventually requesting Brush Units to the scene. T-3 (C-3B J. Evans) and E-91 (Sgt. Hare) responded within minutes of dispatch. E-91 picked up E-32's water supply as crews from E-32, E-91 and T-3 pull long lines or extended lines as the brush fire extended outward. E-63 and E-33 quickly arrived and started "tanker shuttles" providing constant water to E-32 throughout the duration of the fire. C-6 (T. Crowder), E-61, E-73 also arrived on scene to cut-off any extension from traveling to the near-by trailers and homes. Brush Units from Co. 1, Co. 4, Co. 7, Co. 3 and Co. 83 (Solomon's) arrived on scene assisted in the fast moving fire. The fire was under control within an hour and Units operated on the scene for 2.5hrs as C-3 held the "Lincoln Ave. Command".
