Motorcycle Crash Alerts Volunteers

On 9/28/2006 at 1511 the Volunteers from Bay District were alerted for the reported MVA w/ Injuries involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Wildwood Blvd and Wildwood Pkwy. Engine 92 and Squad 3 along with Chief 3B responded within seconds of the call with 9 volunteers. Engine 92 arrived on the scene and established command untill the arrival of Chief 3B. Squad 3 arrived shortly after along with Chief 3B and secured power to the motorcycle and assisted with patient care. Command advised that due to the mechanism of injury they requested the helo but after further assessment by the Paramedics it was determined that they could transport to St. Mary's Hospital. Engine 92 and Squad 3 cleared the scene within 20 minutes. This would be one of 10 calls for both stations for the day.
