Working Building Fire in Lexington Park

On Wednesday, November 18th at 6:20 PM your Volunteers from Bay District and surrounding departments were alerted for a commercial building fire at 18199 Three Notch Road (Sign of the Whale Liquors) in Lexington Park. At 6:22 Fire Chief 3 (J. Gould) arrived on scene and reported “Heavy Smoke form Side “Charlie”. E93 (Chief 3A B. Ticson) and E132 arrived on scene at 6:23 PM and began the interior fire attack. Engine 91 (FF J. Martin) arrived provided water supply to E93 and pulled a back up line. All crews worked to extinguish the fire that had extended into the apartments flooring above. At 6:44 PM Fire Chief 3 placed the fire under control.

Units operated on scene for almost two hours before returning to quarters. No injuries were reported during the incident.
