Morning Cut Job in California

Just after 10 am Volunteers were alerted to a motor vehicle accident. Dispatch advised a single vehicle on its side with one trapped and unconscious.

Units responded right after being dispatched and Engine 91 arrived first confirming one on its side with a single occupant trapped but not unconscious. Engine 91 went to work stabilizing and securing the vehicle. Squad 3 arrived shortly after and started extricating the victim along with the member's of Hollywood on Squad 7 which arrived in short succession.

Members had the victim extricated in 15 minutes and was turned over to EMS for transport and care. Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad transported the patient to the St. Marys Airport where the patient was medevaced by the Maryland State Police to a local trauma center.

Command was held by Deputy Fire Chief Gould and the Rescue Group was supervised by Deputy Fire Chief Rector
