Auto Accident with Flyout

At 12:40 on February 10, 2005 Bay District Station 3, EMS 39, EMS 6 and St. Mary's Advanced Life Support Unit we dispatched for an auto accident with entrapment at 21751 Pegg Road. Lieutenant Tim Snyder (LPVRS) was on the scene at the time of dispatch and advised serious injuries with entrapment and to start a helicopter. Engine 32 responded immediately under the direction of Lieutenant Luke Hagensick and Squad 3 under the direction of Captain Tim Pennington. Deputy Chief 3 (Joe Gould) arrived on scene at 12:42 and initiated the Bay District Command. Engine 32 & Squad 3 arrived on scene and began extrication of the female occupant, at 13:27 the patient was extricated and flown to PG Hospital Center for evaluation. All other occupants were transported by ground to St. Mary's Hospital or refused treatment. A second helicopter was requested and later returned after further evaluation of the patient. NASFD (E-132) was dispatched to handle the landing site for MSP Trooper 7 and the crew assisted with extricaton efforts.
