As crews were beginning to start weekly training at Station 3 on Monday night they were dispatched to another motor vehicle accident. This accident was the second one within 10 minutes as crews were still operating at the first one. Additional units responded to this accident and crews were able to wrap up the previous incident and respond shortly after also.

Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles with one in the roadway and one off the road. People in the vehicle that were in the roadway were out of the vehicle and uninjured. The driver was still in the vehicle that was off the road. Crews immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and securing the power to the vehicle.

EMS evaluated the patient who was transported to St. Mary's MedStar Hospital with non life threating injuries.

Units operated on scene for about twenty minutes before returning to service and heading back to Station 3 to resume training.
