It's Boo Night At Bay District Station 3..........

It was another night for all the ghosts and goblins to ascend on Bay District Station 3 for our annual Halloween safe candy give away. For many years now we have offered to the citizens of our community a safe place for them to bring their children for some fun times with all the ghosts and ghouls located at the firehouse.

Under the direction of our Fire Prevention Chairman Melissa Gould we do a great set-up of all the props that make Halloween fun. Everything is set up on the front ramp of the station and there is plenty of parking for the parents stopping by. It is so funny to watch these cute kids all dressed out in some of the cutest costumes you could ever imagine. They start walking up the ramp like big kids until they start looking at all the spooky stuff then they run back to mom and dad for a reassuring hand.

I know this has nothing to do with firefighting or fire prevention but I just can't help not taking the pictures and telling their parents to check out our web site where they will be posted. We had a ton of candy and plenty for everyone even the firemen and we also managed to put some fire prevention stuff in their bags when they weren't looking. Again let me say that I think our people enjoy putting it on as much as the kids do that stop by.

I would also like to thank those brave firefighters from Company 13 (Patuxent River F.D.) who stopped by to make sure that we were all safe and sound. You just never know what can go bump in the night.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.
