On April 19, 2010 at 1704 hours the Bay District Volunteers along with Lexington Park EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Pegg Road and Ronald Drive for the MVA with injuries. Chief 3A, Engine 32 and Squad 3 all marked up with numerous EMS units seconds after dispatch. At 1708 Chief 3A and Engine 32 arrived on the scene and found one vehicle with the Engine Compartment on fire. Chief 3A established the Pegg Road Command as Engine 32's crew was ensuring the fire was out and checking for occupants. Once all units were on the scene the crews split up securing power to the vehicles and assisting with patient care. Both operators were transported to SMH and the fire department cleared the scene within 30 minutes.
