On April 29, 2009 at 1752 hours the Volunteers from Ridge, Bay District and the NAWC (NESEA) Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Pratt Road and Hatties Lane for the Working Trailer Fire. Engine 33, Engine 91 and Truck Company 3 all responded within seconds of the dispatch with a total of 15 volunteers. Lt. 4 J. Raley arrived on the scene at 1801 and advised communications and incoming units that there was fire showing. Engine 44 arrived first and advance two 1.75 attack lines to the trailer with one of the lines protecting the propane tanks to the rear of the trailer. Chief 4 arrived and established the "Hatties Lane Command" and advised all units that it would be an exterior attack do to most of the trailer being on the ground. Engine 33 and Engine 91 assisted with water supply, extinguishment and overhaul. Truck Company 3 was placed in service before arriving on the scene. The crews from Bay District operated on the scene for a little over an hour before returning to quarters.
