| On Friday July 11, 2008 @ 16:14 hours, Bay District Volunteers were alerted to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the intersection of Three Notch Road @ Chancellors Run Road. Within 30 seconds of dispatch Engine 92, Squad 3, and Chief 9B were on the road with 15 personnel. At 16:16 hours, Engine 92 under the direction of Captain 9 (Jeff Bixby) arrived on the scene of a two vehicle rear end collision accident in the North Bound lane just South of the Intersection. At 16:17 hours, Chief 9B arrived on the scene establishing the California Command with Captain 9 assuming the Operations. One occupant was still in the vehicle so the crew from the Engine stabilized the vehicle and secured the batteries. The crew from Squad 3 under the direction of Sergeant 3 (Charlie Welch) arrived at 16:19 hours and checked out the second vehicle and assisted Engine 92's crew with patient packaging/removal. One occupant was transported to St Mary's Hospital by Ambulance 397 and crews returned to service at 16:45 hours at which time they were dispatched for a brush Fire. |
