Vehicle Well Off On Grant Place

On the early morning hours of June 26th at 0143 hours the Volunteers from Station 9 were cleared off a broken sprinkler head at Walmart and directed to respond to the intersection of Harrison Street and Grant Place for a Vehicle Fire. Engine 92(FF. Starr) responded with a total of 6 Volunteers. Chief 3 and Engine 92 arrived at 45485 Grant Place with a vehicle well off. Engine 92 deployed there 150' 1.75" bumper line and made quick work of the fire. A fire marshall was called to the scene for further investigation of the incident. Engine 92 then returned to quarters at 0245 hours.
