| On Saturday Jan 7 eight members from companies three and nine participated in some excellent training put on by our Assistant Chief Dave Smiley. Members were introduced to turntable operations, bucket operations, and various truck company tactics. The crews were split into two groups. One group practiced laddering the building, horizontal ventilation and breaching walls as means of egress, while the second group operated with the aerial and performed Roof ventilation. The training was very educational and all who participated thoroughly enjoy the afternoon. Thanks to the A Chief for taking the time to work with us. |
