This weekend the members of Bay District celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen’s Association. Our own Fire Chief, Joe Gould, was the incoming President of the association. The weekend started on Saturday with a memorial service to honor the members of the association that passed away during 2021 followed by the annual convention and awards ceremony. Bay District members got up early Sunday and began to setup for the annual parade and firemen’s games that immediately followed the parade. The members of Bay District would like to congratulate all the incoming officers and award winners for the 75th Anniversary Convention Awards and Parade winners.
