Shed fire in California

On Friday, January 14th at 1:39 p.m. Bay District and surrounding departments were alerted to the 45000 block of Barefoot Drive for the reported structure fire. Bay District Engine 91, Engine 32, Tower 9 and Tanker 34 responded, Engine 91 arrived to find a small shed involved with fire with extension to a neighboring shed and leaves/grass was burning in several adjacent yards.

Engine 91’s crew pulled a 1 ¾” attack line and began extinguishment, Engine 72’s Crew (HVFD) arrived and pulled an additional line to extinguish the exposures. Assistant Fire Chief 7 (Rogers) arrived on scene and established the command. The fire was placed under control within eight minutes of arrival and Command held units from Bay District and Hollywood for overhaul and returned the remining units.

No injuries were reported, and the exposures suffered minor damage form the fire.
