Monday afternoon volunteers at both Bay District's stations were alerted for a reported trailer fire next to a house in Hollywood. Bay District responded with 4 pieces of apparatus and 15 personnel.

Engine 72 arrived to find a single wide mobile home that was well off with fire spreading to an attached two-story single-family home.

Bay District units arrived on the scene and personnel assisted in hitting the hot spots and overhaul of the trailer after extinguishment. The fire was placed under control in approximately 40 minutes. Engine 93 and Tanker 34 assisted in water supply with the tanker shuttle that was set up.

The fire destroyed the mobile home and caused minor fire and smoke damage to the single-family home. Units operated and remained on scene for approximately two hours and awaited the arrival of the state fire marshal and assisted them before returning to service.
