On Friday, January 1, 2021, at 9:49 p.m., Bay District Stations 9 & 3 along with EMS Stations 38, 39, 49 and Medic 4 were alerted the area of Point Lookout Road and Willows Road in Lexington Park, for the motor vehicle accident with one subject trapped.

Chief 3B (Bussler) and Squad 3 arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway and into a guardrail, with one patient pinned, unconscious and unresponsive. Chief 3B was assigned the extrication division and Fire Chief 3 (Gould) held the Hermanville Command.

Squad 3 and Rescue Engine 91 crews worked to extricate the patient in approximately 15 minutes and medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.
