On Friday, April 10 at 05:16 Bay District and surrounding departments were dispatched for a structure for in the 19000 block of Sam’s Way in Lexington Park. At 05:20 Deputy Fire Chief 3 (Joe Gould) arrived on scene and reported a single wide mobile home with fire showing in the center of the residence.

E32 was first arriving and initiated an interior attack, E132 (NDWFD) arrived and established a water supply and their crew assisted with the fire attack. Squad 3 and Truck 13 arrived and provided searches and opened up the fire area. Due to renovations to the home it had a wooded roof built on top of its manufactured roof and became quite a challenge to extinguish. The crew from Squad 4 (RVFD) was directed to go to the roof and ventilate, once the roof was vented crews were able to extinguish the fire between the two roofs.

Crews were on the scene for over two hours and no injuries were reported.
