On Thursday, March 5 at 5:10 pm Bay District Station 9 and surrounding fire/EMS companies were dispatched for an auto accident with entrapment on St. Andrews Church Road at Indian Bridge Road. Lieutenant 6A was in the area and arrived on scene and reported one vehicle on its roof with one occupant trapped. Chief 3A (D. Burroughs) arrived on scene and established the St. Andrews Church Road Command.

Upon arrival of Engine 91 the patient was self-extricating with the assistance of Lt. 6A and Chief 1 (C. Bell). Medic 139 (Naval District Washington FD) was first arriving EMS unit and took over patient care, the single patient was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
