At approximately 05:11 units from Company 3 & 9 were alerted to a report of a structure fire on Hermanville Road, with multiple calls to dispatch. Engine 32 and Engine 92 immediately responded. While responding dispatch advised that additional calls were being received and this was a confirmed working fire. Engine 32 took the attack group operations with the crew from NDW Engine 132 assisting. Arriving second to the scene Truck 13 from NDWFD and assumed the first due special operations with ventilation, and search and rescue. Engine 92 arrived 3rd to the scene seconds after truck 13 and assisted with attack operations with a line to the Charlie-Bravo side of the structure with heavy fire throughout the structure.

Chief 3A (Burroughs) from Bay District arrived and assumed the division 1 operations officer, while Chief 13A (Trossbach) assumed the incident command.
