Yet Another Accident on FDR BLVD |

At 8 am Monday morning Bay District volunteers were alerted once again to a reported serious motor vehicle accident at First Colony and FDR Blvd. Dispatch advised two vehicles with one possibly overturned. Safety 3 was the first to arrive and reported two vehicles, one in the roadway and the other off the roadway. There was no entrapment nor any overturned vehicle. The Squad was placed in service and the assignment was held with Engine 91 and the ambulances. One ambulance transported a patient to St. Mary's Hospital while the other ambulance evaluated the other patients who refused medical care. Units went back in service shortly after. Metcom was notified for a broken fire hydrant that was hit by one of the vehicles along with county highway for broken street signs. ***All Photos Courtesy of SMNewsNet*** |
