At 6:16 pm your Bay District Volunteers with surrounding EMS stations were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. At 6:20 pm Lieutenant 3 (K. Woodburn) arrived on scene and advised communications of a three vehicle accident with severe damage to the vehicles. Squad 3 and EMS units arrived on scene and evaluated the patients and determined it was necessary to transport two patients to a local trauma center for treatment of their injuries. Trooper 2 was requested and transported both patients to PG Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. A387 & A398 transported the patients to Trooper 7's hanger at St. Mary's County Airport to meet Trooper 2 for the Med-Evac.

Lieutenant 3 (Woodburn) held the Great Mills Road command.
