Just after 10:00 am units from Stations 3 & 9 were dispatched to Valley Lee for the working house fire.

Tanker 3, Engine’s 32 & 92, Tower 9, & Safety 3 responded with 17 volunteers. When units arrived Engine 61 advised they had a 2 story wood frame home with smoke showing and the line was at the door for Engine 32 to take due to being understaffed.

Engine 32 arrived (10:16) and laid a supply line from driveway to the home where Engine 61 & Tanker 6 were. Chief 3B established command unit the arrival of Chief 6A. Safety 3 arrived just after and was given water supply operations. Tower 9 laddered the structure and they went inside and started hooking with the crews from Stations 3 & 9. As other units arrived they supplied the water and they’re crews waited to relieve the interior crews. Chief 7B was in charge of the man power pool. The primary and secondary searches were negative and the fire was under control around 10:45. Units continued to operate on scene till 12:29.
