Truck 3 arrived and set up ground ladders as Engine 132 picked up the supply line from Engine 32. The crew from Engine 132 took a secondary line to the 2nd floor. Chief 3A (Burroughs) arrived at this time and established the Old Missouri Command.

Due to a few units responding under staffed Truck 7 & Squad 7 were dispatched and both responded shortly after dispatch. Engine 91 arrived and established the secondary water source and its crew checked the Bravo 1 exposure and reported no extension. Engine 61 arrived and was sent by command to check the Delta 1 exposure. During that inspection it was discovered to be additional living space for the unit on fire. Engine 32 reported the bulk of the fire was in the kitchen and the fire was quickly knocked. The crews inside reported no extension on the 2nd floor or in the attic. The residents reported that the stove was left on which was determined to be the cause of the fire.
