At 1358 hours the Emergency Operations Center started dropping tones for a reported working house fire at 22442 MacAuther Boulevard. Units marked up soon after dispatch and Lieutenant 3 J. Sewell was in the area and went on the scene with fire showing on side A. Engine 32 (The Park) was first arriving followed by Engine 132 ( Navy Fire) then Engine 91 (California) and the rest of the assignment started arriving soon after. Lieutenant 3 Sewell assumed the command. Engine 32 (The Park) made quick work of the fire holding it to the room of origin.

Kind of a cut and dry operation but when someone loses their property there is nothing cut and dry to them. I was just meaning again the guys made a great stop and that is due to their training on drill nights. Got some pictures that some might be interested in looking at.

Others on the scene were 7 (Hollywood) and 6 (Second District) along with a few ambulances from Lexington Park Rescue Squad.
