In the early morning hours of November 14th, Stations 9 & 3 and the surrounding area fire departments were dispatched for a working house fire at 22483 Macarthur Boulevard in California.

Engine 32 was first arriving finding a modular home fully involved with fire. Engine 91 arrived shortly after Engine 32 and picked up Engine 32’s supply line. Both crews attempted to make entry into the home for fire attack as Fire Chief 3 arrived and assumed command. Fire Chief 3 called for a defensive attack due to the amount of involvement of fire to knock down the heavy fire throughout the home.

Once the home was able to safely be entered crews started to hit the hot spots as Trucks 3 & 1 performed overhaul. Searches were negative once inside the home. Command was able to release all but the units from BDVFD around 02:30. Crews stayed until a little after 4:00 am assisting the fire investigator.

Red Cross is assisting the occupants.
