On 06/29 at 13:20 Communications alerted Companies 6 and 3 (Lt Martin) and Truck 3 (Capt. Burroughs) to the 43000 block of Blake Creek Road for the Shed Fire. Engine 61 arrived on scene finding a 20X20 shed fully involved and pulled 2 1.75 handlines to the structure. Engine 63 and Engine 33 arrived on scene and supplied Engine 61 with water while Volunteers mopped up the remaining fire. Truck 3 assisted with overhaul of the Shed. Units operated for a little over an hour.

While units from 3 returned to quarters, Communications advised Tanker 33 that they were taking calls on a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries in the area of Three Notch Road and Hermanville Road. Tanker 33 and Squad 3 responded on the run. Tanker 33 arrived on scene finding one vehicle in a ditch which had rolled multiple times. It was determined that the occupant of the vehicle would require extrication due to injuries and position of the patient after rolling. Squad 3 arrived on scene and went to work removing the roof and all doors to the vehicle. Once the patient was extricated, Patient care was turned over to EMS on scene. It was determined the patient would need to be flown to a local trauma center.
