Rescue-3 Extricates 2 in St Mary's City

At approximately 1600 hrs, Squad-3 was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident reported people trapped on Point Lookout Road north of St. Mary's City. Squad-3 arrived on scene and found a vehicle on its driver side and confirmed 2 occupants people trapped. Your Bay District Volunteers quickly stabilized the vehicle, got their hoseline set up and began removing the passenger side doors. Once the doors were removed they were able to extricate one patient out of the top of the vehicle. Once the first patient was out of the vehicle, they flapped down the roof and removed the steering wheel to extricate the second patient. Both patients were flown out to separate hospitals. Company 4 units assisted in the landing zones operation.
