On 6/3/16 at 1201 hours the Volunteers at Bay District were dispatched for a report of a working trailer fire at 21459 Ritz Drive. Companies 3, 13, 9, and 6 were dispatched and responded along with C-3 (J. Gould), C-3B (S. Stockwell) and C-13A (C. Adams). E-32 (FF A. King) and SQ-3 (FF S. Welch) arrived on scene with heavy fire on Side "A" or the front of the structure, started the initial fire attack and primary search. E-132 (J. Bean) arrived on scene, completed E-32's water supply and assisted in extinguishment/search efforts. Upon C-3's arrival, established command of the incident. E-91 (SGT Young), located a secondary hydrant and sent crews up along with C-3B who performed a walk around of the structure. The fire was under control in approximately 15 minutes and zero results on both the Primary and Secondary Searches were negative (however the homeowners pets were lost during the blaze). SMECO and the State Fire Marshalls Office were requested to the scene to assist in securing the power and fire investigation. Command was passed to C-3B and units operated on the scene for approximately 2.5 hours before clearing the scene and returning to quarters.
