After a long weekend Bay District Volunteers were alerted yet again for another fire. Monday morning at 0840 hrs Stations 7 (Hollywood), 2 (Mechanicsville), 1 (Leonardtown), (Bay District) 9, and 5 (Seventh District) were dispatched for a working house fire in the Sandgates area of Hollywood. Both Engine 91 and Engine 93 - running as a tanker responded. Engine72 was first arriving and reported heavy fire throughout a single-family dwelling. Company 2 arrived shortly after and assisted Hollywood with the initial fire attack. E 91 arrived and supplied Engine 72 from a folding tank while the Tankers from all stations shuttled water from a fill site. Water Supply 5 set up the fill site near the Sea Breeze Restaurant. The crew from Engine 93 performed RIT while the officer from E 91 assisted the crews with extinguishment. Both crews later assisted in the extensive overhaul and crews remained on scene for several hours before returning to service. Engine 32 assisted in proving transfer coverage at Company 7 to cover the Hollywood area.
