On March 3, 2015 at 0721 hours Volunteers from the Bay District VFD were alerted to an MVA with injuries in the area of Spring Ridge Middle School. SQ-3 (Sgt. Martin), E-32 (W. Johnson) and C-3B (S. Stockwell) responded to the scene along with ambulances from Lexington Park VRS, Co. 39 and Co. 49, Ridge VRS. Upon SQ-3's arrival it was determined that two vehicles were involved with two patients with injuries. Command was setup by SQ-3 then passed to C-3B, as SQ-3 was assigned the Extrication Group. After further investigation one vehicle required a "Door Pop" as the door could not be opened. Following the extrication of the patient, both patients were packaged and transported to St. Mary's Hospital. Command was then terminated and units returned to service and quarters.
