Wow, what a few weeks can do to change your perspective on new apparatus. Please enjoy the photos and updates.

E-32, has had the Cab, Pump house, Tank and body installed at that time myself and the Deputy Chief Mike Fuhrman headed out to Wisconsin to inspect E-32 and hopefully take a look at SQ-3 as well. Although we found some issues all were pretty much minor problems and seemed to be fixable issues. I can honestly say we had about 17 hits on our list, as far as any of those issues were concerned. Now although it seems like a lot I have seen previous trucks come in over the year with 50+ hits or items that needed to be fixed. This is similar to assembling a 50,000 piece puzzle and to only have 17 is pretty remarkable and speaks to not only Pierce but how far the manufacturing of fire apparatus has come in just 10-15 years.

SQ-3 is on its typical pace and although we stopped by for a few hours it is honestly nice to have a conversation with Engineers who build these trucks on what your outlook is on the unit and where its going. All the big additions are nearly completed and the little detail work is starting to take effect now where it truly or both trucks, are truly looking ready to be put in service. I believe this week and part of last SQ3 will be going into testing for the Generator, Pump and electrical components.

Stay tuned and enjoy.
