E-32 Mid-Inspection, these ground accent lights were a nice addition to the last E-32 and we added similar lighting for the new one.

I even managed to find a truck not to far from my home state of CT. This is Danbury, CT's new Tower. Pretty big as it barely fits in my camera view. This is about 20 minutes from my home town.
SQ-3 with the cab lifted. Wished I got some with the cab closed but they were installing the flexible hose for the front discharge.

SQ-3 as opposed to buying an expensive dump system or large rotating step. We opted to put a trailer hitch step in the rear. Although a little large than I wanted it makes it much easier to climb in and out of the back.
SQ-3, These are the side bottle storage areas and the side mounted hitch points that will allow us to use as hard points on the truck and connect a portable winch to when doing operations that do not allow us to access the front or rear.
SQ-3, The rear nearly complete is coming along wonderfully.
SQ-3, This frig will provide cool drinks of water on hot days and after fires for the crews.
SQ-3, with the night lights on really looks amazing.
SQ-3, Compartment L3. Our stabilization compartment came out looking fantastic.

SQ-3 Compartment L3

SQ-3, We requested two underbody compartments be installed similar to our old unit. They came out fantastic. One, the drivers side is fixed, the other is a pullout drawer.
SQ-3, We even got to see some of the process on how the gold leaf is made. It really is interesting for you old timers how they do this. They actually provide a cover coating over the top so unlike units of the old days this will last as long as the truck.

Even though we asked the Deputy Chief and I were not allowed to take any of the gold with us... bummer.
I work at Pax and we often wonder why or how we get the units we get... apparently the Coast Guard gets everything because our trucks never look this amazing. Just kidding Coasties, this truck is headed to Kodiak, Alaska.
We even saw snow and 6 degrees.
This is the B-52 of Heavy Rescues and must weight in close to 70,000lbs. It has an ultra raised roof and coffin compartments up top with a walk thru.
Even the B-Chief got to ride on a Fire Truck.
