Early Morning First Due Fire

At 0347 the Bay District Volunteers were alerted for a house fire at 21652 Enterprise Drive. Engine 31 arrived on scene with a 3-story wood frame dwelling with the attached garage fully involved with extension to the attic and fire through the roof. Engine 31's crew quickly deployed the front bumper line and cross-lay and started exterior operations. Engine 132 arrived shortly after, picked up the layout and pulled a second cross-lay to side Delta to start exterior attack and protected the exposure on side Delta. Truck 3 then arrived to provide lighting for the scene and start overhaul. Engine 91 established water supply for Truck 3 ladder pipe operations. After the majority of the garage fire was out, Engine 31's and Truck 3's crew went in and started interior attack on the second floor. The interior fire was quickly extinguished then Engine 61 and Squad 7 crews began salvage and overhaul operations. Units cleared 0806 hrs. Chief Wahrenbrock had the command.
