At 08:26 hours Company 3 was dispatched for a vehicle fire. Engine 31 responded shortly after dispatch. Safety 3A (W. Johnson) arrived to find a Tractor Trailer on fire next to a structure. Engine 31 requested the assignment be upgraded. This brought out stations 6 & 9. Engine 33 and Engine 93 both responded at this time. At 08:36 hours Engine 31 arrived on scene and the crew pulled the bumper line off and started attacking the fire. At 08:41 En 31 reported the fire was out with no extension to the structure and to hold only units from Station 3 only. The State Fire Marshal was requested to the scene to determine the cause of the fire. Engine 33 cleared the scene after supplying Engine 31 with water. Engine 31 waited until the arrival of the fire marshal and returned to quarters at 10:17 hours.
