By Fire Sergeant Mike Bruner
March 21, 2012

On 03/20/2012 Co's 4, 14, 3, 6, 9 Trk 3, Water supply 5 and surrounding EMS units were alerted to Point Lookout Rd in the area of Cypress Lane for the reported working house fire. First arriving Ch-4B (Mercure) advised the corrected address would be off of Tennyson Lane and was the house they were recently using for drill and that he had a two story wood frame with the second floor well off and for the first in engine to lay a line in from the draft site prior to the scene. Trk 3(Sgt. Bruner) Eng 33(Sgt. Ticson) and Eng 93 (FF Alioto) arrived simultaneously and were directed to advance to division two with hooks. The engine crews assisted Co. 4 crews with advancing multiple handlines and knocking the fire while the truck crew opened up. Units operated for over 3 hours before being released and placed on a fire alarm in the California area while returning. Ch-4(Raley) held the command and Eng 74 transferred to Co. 3.
