Pedestrian Struck On Indian Bridge Road

On January 6, 2012 at 1911 the Bay District Volunteers were dispatched to Indian Bridge Road and Knott's Drive. Engine 32 (Sgt. Ticson), Squad 3 (Sgt. Thomas) responded with 13 Volunteers along with Captain 3 (Fairfax) and Safety 3A (Johnson) at dispatch. While Units were responding, St. Mary's County ECC advised that the Sheriff's Office was on the scene advising of a Priority 4 patient. Engine 32 arrived and established the Command of the Incident and to hold it with One Paramedic Ambulance and return the rest. Crews assisted the police with the investigation and requested State Highway to the scene. Squad 3 stayed on the scene until State Highway arrived providing scene lighting. All crews were back in quarters at 2103 hours.
