Fatal Auto Accident, Route 4 and South Patuxent Beach Road

On December 30, 2011 at 1448 hours the Volunteers from Bay District, Hollywood and Solomons were dispatched to the area of Route 4 and South Patuxent Beach Road for the Auto Accident with Injuries and reported entrapment. As units marked up responding they were advised that police were on the scene with heavy entrapment and a subject not breathing. Squad 7 arrived and performed a rapid extrication and confirmed the subject to be priority 4. At that time Rescue Engine 92, Squad 7 and Rescue 83 remained on the scene and assisted the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office for the Accident Reconstruction before returning to Quarters. Safety 3 held the Route 4 Command.
